Tim Gavronski
Head Professional
PGA Member

This is Tim’s 19th season at Shuttle Meadow. Prior to Shuttle Meadow, Tim was the Head Professional at Black Hall Club, Old Lyme, Connecticut, for five years and then became their Head Professional/Club Manager for the next eight years. Over the past 30 years, as a Head Professional in the Connecticut Section, Tim has had the good fortune to be the only professional recognized with each of the possible section awards, including the most prestigious, Golf Professional of the Year. In 2016, Tim was inducted into the Connecticut Section PGA Golf Hall of Fame. He has also served on the CT PGA Board of Directors, and fulfilled all the officer positions including President. Tim has always enjoyed competing and qualified to play in the 1980 U.S. Amateur, the 1995 and 2000 PGA Tour Canon GHO (now the Traveler's Championship).  Tim graduated from Ferris State University (Big Rapids, MI) with a Business degree, a major in Marketing and a Professional Golf Management option.

Brendan Nicholson
Assistant Professional
PGA Apprentice

Brendan returns to Shuttle Meadow for his second season after a six-year stint in Florida working at both Grand Harbor Golf Club and then John’s Island Club, in Vero Beach. Brendan is a graduate of Quinnipiac University and Xavier High School. He is a native of Middletown, CT, and when not on the golf course, enjoys bike riding, hiking and fishing. Brendan is a huge Red Sox and Oakland Raiders fan.

Mike Bernard
Mike was hired in 2019 as an Outside Service employee and quickly became a valuable asset to the golf operation. He was in a similar role at TPC River Highlands for 6 years prior to joining the Shuttle Meadow team. Mike is quite the golfer and has decided to “test the waters” of the golf profession with a possible career in mind. Based on his performance in 2019, Tim has high expectations for Mike and look forward to mentoring him toward a future in the golf business. In the off-season Mike is a hockey referee and like Tim…a huge Packer fan!
