Golf at Shuttle Meadow Country Club

Our Mission Statement To provide an overall golf experience that exceeds the expectations of our members and their guests.Shuttle Meadow represents golf as it was meant to be. Founded in 1899 the club became a leader among the earliest courses, co-founding the Connecticut State Golf Association. In 1916, the club's determination to create a world-class course helped usher in the golden age of golf architecture with the design of its "new" Shuttle Meadow facility.

After opening in 1917 the club's commitment to quality and the traditions of "the royal and ancient game" became its guiding vision.Shuttle Meadow Country Club is an authentic original designed by Willie Park, Jr. A couple of our unusual features are instead of a front and back nine we have a lower and upper nine due the natural topography of SMCC. Also, while most courses are par 36/36 our course is a par 37 for the lower nine and 34 for the upper nine.
